JUNE Newsletter

For June, the Theme of the Month at Emmanuel will be our Emergency Food Pantry again.  We are short of a few items.

Our Youth raised nearly $1000 for Canadian Lutheran World Reliefat their 30 Hour Famine in May

And our Ladies' Quilting group shipped 264 quilts and blankets to Canadian Lutheran World Relief on May 28, along with 71 kits for babies, men and women.  Thanks also to Murray and Eric for trucking the shipment to Arnold Brothers.

The final PreYouth Fun Night before summer will be held on Friday, June 21 at 7 pm.

 

 

Vacation Bible Schoolwill be held Tuesday, July 2 - Friday, July 5 this year (9 am – 12 noon).  All children, ages 5 - 12 are invited to join us for a week of Kingdom Rock!  Please call the church office (403-272-1551) to pre-register.

The Women's Brunch group is happy to report that their recent Potatoe Bake raised$$419.  This money was used to purchase supplies for the kitchen, as well as more matching plates and bowls.  Thanks to everyone who participated in this fundraiser.
